How It Works: Weaving Together What You Need
Each session is an opportunity to adjust and adapt. Here’s what to expect:
When we first meet, we’ll explore what’s most pressing for you: what feels off, what you want more of, what feels overwhelming.
Based on that, we might pull from different modalities — maybe some somatic awareness, some cognitive reframing, maybe EMDR if trauma is coming up or DBT skills if emotions feel overwhelming.
Between sessions, you’ll often have “practice moments” or experiments — small actions, reflections, or tools to try. We’ll check back in to see what felt helpful and what didn’t.
Over time, the mix may shift: some weeks more talk, some weeks more body-based; sometimes more coping skills, sometimes more deep work. Whatever works for you.
